We are committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
The primary objective of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is to tackle the major global challenges confronting us, including inequality, environmental degradation, economic prosperity, and peace. By doing so, these goals aim to create a more sustainable future that benefits everyone.

SDG 8 - Decent work and Economic growth
Since our establishment, we have contributed to the growth of the countries where we operate. We create social value by supporting more than 3,000 employees across more than 8 nations. We act as a family, providing our employees with training and development, inclusive diversity and health and safety as expressed in our values. During the coronavirus pandemic we have converted production lines to manufacture hand sanitizers distributing them to our employees, citizens and governmental organizations.
SDG 9- Industry innovation and infrastructure
We are actively engaged in contributing to the sustainability of various infrastructures. We have invested in research and development to develop fire-retardant coatings that increase the safety of industrial sites. Our coating capacity to absorb solar radiation helps reduce the consumption of air conditioning and save energy.
SDG 10- Reduced inequalities
National Paints launched the “Global Vision Endowment” dedicated to people with disability and adopted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
SDG – 12 Responsible consumption and production
We are committed to drive progress and accelerate the pace towards responsible consumption and production. We have implemented systems to reduce the exposure of workers and consumers to harmful substances and protect our customers with non-toxic and low VOC products. We are engaged in substantially reducing waste generation through prevention, reuse and recycling of paints.
SDG 13 - Climate action
We are reducing our carbon footprint in our operations while focusing on efficient energy. By lowering temperatures and reducing the need for air conditioning, our products help buildings effectively withstand difficult conditions, notably heat, which reduces carbon emissions and saves energy.
